Dampening disks

DAMPENING DISKS, from Forrest Manufacturing Co., help reduce motor and blade vibration in most table, panel and radial arm saws, according to the company. The disks are designed to be mounted next to the saw blade on its arbor or shaft and will hold the saw blade rigid so vibrations are not transmitted to the rim of the teeth. The discs are available in 4" to 10" diameters with bores of 5/8" or 1". They can be custom-ordered to fit almost any saw. The dampening disks sell for $21.60 to $32.40.
