"We're growing quite a bit with what we call our general-purpose tools, which consist of die grinders, disc sanders, drills of all different horsepower and sizes," says product manager Steve Briggs. "[Customers] have primarily known us for orbital sanders and Dynafiles in the past, so we've come out with new products, new features, made them more ergonomic, made them more operator-friendly in the hopes of growing the general purpose line as a whole."

The pistol-grip drills feature a high-torque, .4-hp air motor, capable of producing 500 to 20,000 rpm, and are available with 1/4" or 3/8" Dynachuck or Jacobs chucks. The insulated grips feature finger platforms on both sides for operator comfort and control, while the drills also offer a slow-speed startup trigger and rear exhaust. The drills weigh between 1.8 and 2.6 lbs.

The two .4-hp angle-head drills are available in lengths of 7" and 11-3/8", with the longer model suited for gaining access to hard-to-reach areas. The angle height is 2-1/4" and the drills weigh approximately 2 lbs.

The straight-line drills are offered in 13 versions with a 1/4" chuck and front exhaust.

Five drills are available for connection with central vacuum systems. These drills feature a collapsible vacuum shroud, which compresses around the drill bit to capture chips and debris.
