Festool focusing on efficiency

Festool has added three new products – the PHC 18 Mobile Phone Charging Station, 6” Abrasive Systainer Set, and Ratchet Systainer Set – to help professionals save time and stay organized.

“We recognize the importance of organization and productivity when it comes to any project,” Rick Bush, Festool’s product marketing manager, said in a statement. “These turnkey solutions were developed to boost efficiency and enable professional tradespeople to have all of the solutions they need at hand.”

The PHC 18 Mobile Phone Charging Station transforms every Festool 18-volt battery pack into a portable power bank, capable of charging up to three smartphones at the same time, according to the company. The power bank has similar dimensions to a standard Festool battery pack and sells for $49.

The 6” Abrasive Systainer Set includes 120 sanding pads in a variety of grits (60 to 220) for use with Festool’s Rotex 150, ETS 150 and ETS EC 150 orbital sanders. The set sells for $249.

The Ratchet Systainer Set – a limited-edition offering – includes rachets, sockets and bits of all sizes to ensure a wide range of possible applications when fastening parts. It will be available while supplies last for $249
