A key highlight is the AutoClean function that automatically cleans the main filter, according to Rick Bush, Festool’s vice president of marketing
“The CT 48 E AC with AutoClean and high-performance HEPA filter combines both of the highest touted attributes that a dust extractor can have – large volume and excellent filtration,” says Bush. “With the CT 48 E AC, remodelers and woodworkers can attack dust and work cleaner.”
The 12.7-gallon vacuum also features tool-triggered operation with Bluetooth compatibility and variable-speed suction control.
The CT 48 is OSHA Table 1 compliant for materials containing silica dust. It includes a large diameter tapered hose with rotating connecting sleeves and a reducer to allow for connection to all Festool tools with either a 36mm or a 27mm port, according to the company.
The CT 48 E AC sells for $975.
