HITACHI C18DL 18-VOLT 6-1/2" CIRCULAR SAW features a left-mounted blade, built-in spotlight, electric brake, soft grip and 50-degree bevel-angle adjustment. It also includes the company's new 10-year lithium-ion tool warranty. The saw's lithium-ion HXP batteries have extended run time, fade-free power, 40 percent less weight and three times the power capacity of traditional batteries, according to the company. The cutting depth is 2-1/4" at 90 degrees and 1-9/16" at 45 degrees. A universal charger is included for batteries ranging from 7.2 to 18 volts for Ni-Cd, NiMH, and lithium-ion battery platforms.
