M12 HACKZALL RECIPROCATING SAW from Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. is a compact, lightweight saw designed for versatile cutting in tight spaces for remodeling, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC applications. The Hackzall is powered by a 12-volt lithium-ion battery and delivers a 1/2" cutting stroke 3,000 times per minute. The Milwaukee tool, model 2420-22, uses the company’s keyless Quik-Lok blade clamp for quick blade changes. Other features include a variable speed trigger, all-metal gear case, battery fuel gauge, and a built-in LED light. The saw accepts both Hackzall and Sawzall style blades, weighs 2.6 lbs. and is 11" long. The model 2420-22 saw comes with two 12-volt lithium-ion batteries, a 30-minute charger, two Hackzall blades and a carrying case, and is priced at approximately $179.
