Metabo HPT has added 15-, 16- and 23-gauge straight and angled cordless nailers to its line of 18-volt MultiVolt tools.
“By combining our reputation from pneumatic nailers with the reliability of our proven cordless nailer performance since 2016, these cordless finish nailers are an efficient alternative offering freedom to move around. They are ideal for finish applications in single family home and multi-family residential construction, as well as for punch out work and remodeling,” the company said in a statement.
Each nailer features an air spring drive system that uses compressed air to drive each nail, which eliminates ramp-up time, increases shooting speed, delivers a quicker response time between fastener shots, and enhances flush driving, according to the company.
Other features include a tool-less depth-of-drive dial, selective actuation switch for alternating between sequential or bump fire modes, no-mar nose cap, dry-fire lockout, soft-grip handles, and built-in LED light.
Each nailer sells in a kit with one 2.0 Ah battery and a charger, safety glasses, and carry bag. The 23-gauge pin nailer kit sells for $229, while the other two run $300 apiece. The nailers are also available as a tool only.
