Mirka USA has introduced a new 3” x 4” electric orbital vacuum sander, model DEOS 343XCV, the most compact model in the company’s DEOS (Direct Electronic Orbital Surface Prep) range.
Featuring a lightweight and ergonomic design, it’s compatible with Mirka’s dust extraction systems for healthier, cleaner work environments, according to the company.
“The tool’s designed with the user’s health and comfort in mind, featuring a low-profile, lightweight brushless motor, and ergonomic design with minimal vibration levels. It fits into our dustless sanding portfolio; the CV meaning it connects to a central vac,” says Mirka product manager Scott Barnes.
“The idea was to make an ergonomic tool with a slim, sleek design that can fit into every corner and that eliminates dust for a better work environment. It can be used in cabinet shops, for furniture, doors and window frames, or any wood sanding applications.”
The sander stands just under 4” high and weighs 2.2 pounds.
Available accessories include a selection of high- and low-density sponges, backup and interface pads, and paper-backed and net-backed abrasives.
The DEOS 343XCV has a suggested retail price of $507.75 and is sold through Mirka’s distributors. For more, visit mirka.com.
