Mullet Tools, a first-time exhibitor at the 2022 IWF in Atlanta, introduced the High-Speed Cyclone Dust Collector, a filter-free mobile system designed to maximize suction from a shop vac without a complicated setup.
“This works in tandem with a shop vac to pre-separate out over 99 percent of sawdust in an easy-to-dump little bin that is transparent in color. We call it milkjug white, so you can see the level inside through the wall or through the clear, polycarbonate plastic lid. When it comes time to dump it, you’re just disconnecting a couple of thumb screws. One for the hose and one for the connection to the vacuum, and like a teapot, you just tip it up over that smaller controlled opening,” says D.J. Bell, co-owner and CEO of Mullet Tools.
Made of polyethylene plastic, the collector has just over a 5-gallon capacity. It has a universal design, allowing it to fit with any wet/dry shop vac model on the market, according to Bell. It features a cut-to-fit PVC system to match the height of a vacuum inlet.
“The two hose adapters that come with each unit fit virtually every shop vacuum brand out there,” adds Bell.
The collector sells for $249.99. For more, visit mullettools.com.
