New band saw from Grizzly

Grizzly Industrial introduces the 14” Extreme Series Resaw Band Saw, model G0555XH.

The band saw features an extra-long upper frame that provides 12” of resawing capacity without requiring a separate riser block, according to the company.

Other features include 1-3/4-hp, 110/220-volt, single-phase motor; powder-coated cast-iron frame and computer-balanced wheels; extra-wide table area of 16-1/8” x 21-3/4” and included ‘deluxe’ aluminum resaw fence; rack-and-pinion guide post with upper and lower ball-bearing blade guides, and quick-release blade tension and easy-access hinged wheel covers.

The band saw sells for $1,150 and is covered by a one-year warranty.
