Woodcraft Solutions introduces the Rotating Clamp System for its PantoRouter benchtop joinery machine.
The system features a 360-degree rotating base that attaches to the T-slots in the PantoRouter’s table with lever-style clamps or the company’s new pneumatic clamp arms.
“The clamp system took a couple of years to develop, and it stems from understanding customers in what they were needing and asking for,” says John Henry Souza, operations manager for PantoRouter USA.
“The highlighted innovation is that the base can rotate 360 degrees on the table which allows the user to clamp at any angle to the workpiece.”
The lever-style clamps feature a ratcheting arm that allows users to manually apply pressure to the workpiece. For production work with more repetitive cuts, the pneumatic air clamp can be used with the same universal clamp base.
The air clamp arm holds a Parker pneumatic cylinder, a pressure foot with a cork/rubber pad, and a knob for positioning the air clamp arm above the workpiece.
PantoRouter offers several packs of accesories, including a single lever-style clamp and clamp base for $120, and the base with two pneumatic air clamps for $400.
