Grizzly Industrial introduces three low-decibel, low-maintenance air compressors from its Grizzly Pro Quiet Series. All three compressors put out a maximum 125 psi and run at just 60dB, according to the company.

“It’s quieter than a typical household vacuum,” says Grizzly’s Will Kersten. “Compare this with a normal compressor sound rating of 90 dB, which is about equal to a lawnmower. It’s hard to describe just how striking the difference is. You really have to hear it to believe it.

“What’s more, according to the CDC, exposure to noise levels above 85dB is a health hazard which can cause hearing damage. This puts workers in the tough position of choosing between using hearing protection and being able to hear when others are shouting to them.”

The compressors feature a roll-cage frame that protects the pump and motor, oil-free pumps, built-in tank output and pressure gauges, and quick connect couplers.

The two-gallon model T32335 sells for $199.95, while the dual-tank, four-gallon model T32336 sells for $299.95.

A 20-gallon model T32337, featuring a 2-1/2-hp motor and wheels, sells for $519.95.
