Choice Machinery Group, manufacturer of Ritter Machinery, introduces the Ritter R46 double-row line drill for cabinet and closet makers looking to boost production.
“The machine allows cabinet builders to drill two rows of shelf pins at once [which] increases efficiency by only having to perform one setup,” says Jake Mulder, the group’s national sales manager.
“The precision of the machine also ensures the shelf pin holes are going to line up between the left and right cabinet sides. The machine allows a builder to drill panels for uppers, lowers and full height closet panels, adding to its versatility.”
Powered by a 3-hp drive motor, the R46 features a 23-spindle, gear-driven drill head on 32mm centers.
Standard features also include a digital readout front head position display, 48” back fence with four adjustable material stops, two spring-operated material clamps, two-position drill depth stop turret, and pneumatic foot-actuated boring cycle.
The machine accepts material up to 1-1/4” thick, offers a table area of 30” x 48”, and has a 48” x 43” footprint.
“The Ritter R46, like all Ritter equipment, is built to last. The rigidness of the machine is what allows for the precision required in cabinet building,” adds Mulder.
The Ritter R46 sells for $21,490. For more, visit rittermachinery.com.
