New lathe from Powermatic

Powermatic introduces the model 3520C lathe featuring adjustable riser blocks, movable control box, ergonomic spindle lock, digital speed and indexing readout, and anti-rotation tailstock key.

It provides a full 36” working distance between centers and 20” swing over the bed, according to the company.

An optional 20” bed extension is available, increasing the lathe’s capacity to 56” between centers and allowing outboard turning of large projects.

The lathe sells for about $4,500.
