METABO SBP 18 PLUS CORDLESS HAMMER DRILL is intended for heavy-duty drilling in wood, concrete, brick, steel and aluminum. Powered by an 18-volt battery, the hammer drill has a larger motor and offers higher torque than the company's previous model. The SBP 18 Plus features a two-speed gearbox and five torque settings. With its 1/2" keyless chuck, the tool can drill holes up to 2" in diameter in wood, 1/2" in steel, and 5/8" in concrete. The drill provides 2,400 blows per minute, and a no-load speed of 0 to 400 rpm in first gear and 0 to 1,400 rpm in second gear. The Metabo hammer drill weighs 6.8 lbs. and is priced at $349.
