New tripod light from DeWalt

DeWalt introduces the 20-volt Max cordless tripod light, model DCL079, built to illuminate dark work areas and withstand tough jobsite conditions, according to the company.

The light “has three brightness settings and illuminates works areas with a maximum output of 3,000 lumens,” the company said in a statement.

“Its telescoping design sets up in seconds and collapses for easy portability and storage. Users can position the 20-volt Max cordless tripod light overhead to reduce shadows and glare as well as illuminate hazards, workstations, and equipment. The light can also help provide contrast and color visibility for detailed tasks or to direct light at work surfaces.”

The bare tool sells for $199.
