Oneida offers Dust Deputy Deluxe Kit

Oneida Air Systems introduces the Dust Deputy 2.5 Deluxe 5-Gallon Kit that includes everything needed to turn a wet/dry vacuum into a cyclonic vacuum.

The new kit, which pre-separates 99 percent of dust and debris from the airstream to eliminate clogged filters and suction loss, is designed for woodworking tasks that generate dust at a rapid pace, such as sanding, sawing, jointing and planning, according to the company.

“Oneida Air Systems revolutionized shop vacuum dust collection with the invention of the Dust Deputy 17 years ago. The idea behind the Dust Deputy is to separate 99 percent of the source dust mechanically before the vacuum filter eliminating chronic clogging,” says company president Robert Witter.

“The new Dust Deputy 2.5 cyclone kit is the culmination of over a decade’s worth of customer feedback, making it the most efficient, convenient, universal, and craftsmen-tailored shop vacuum cyclone separator kit to date.”

Fully assembled, the Dust Deputy 2.5 Deluxe is 17.75” wide and 32” tall. The lid for the waste container has an integrated vortex design which improves separation performance by preventing backdraft into the cyclone, according to Oneida. It has four mounted casters for shop mobility and on-board storage for 1.5” and 2.5” diameter vacuum accessories.

The Dust Deputy 2.5 Deluxe Kit, model AXD250004PL, has an MSRP of $139.95 and includes the anti-static cyclone, 54” wire-reinforced vacuum hose with swivel cuffs, five-gallon waste bucket, quick-release bucket lid, casters, vacuum tether kit, gasket, and hardware.
