NEXT WAVE AUTOMATION is presenting its latest version of the Piranha XL benchtop CNC.

It features a 12’’ x 24’’ and 3-D carving capability. Updates include auto-edge and rotational sensing that automatically locates the work piece and identifies its size, center and auto locates the starting point no matter how it is positioned on the workbed, Virtual Zero software that maps the surface of a worktable or workpiece, a touch-screen color graphic pendant controlled software package, and X & Y homing capability, according to the company.
