Rockler introduced its new T-Track Stops in February, an accessory for the company’s T-Track Table.
The stops hold a workpiece to performing tasks such as belt sanding, hand planing or scraping dried glue, according to the company. They slide along the T-Track and can be tightened at the exact point on the track that best suits each project task.
“We developed three different T-track Stops for our table or any system someone builds on their own. We built them with the idea the material you’re working with is at least 3/4” high and so they don’t interfere with your workpiece,” Rockler vice president of product development Steve Krohmer says.
“These low-profile stops have a locking mechanism to lock in place with folding tabs so you can tighten the T-bolt in the track and fold over the handle, and both sit below the workpiece. So you can, for example, run a belt sander right off the edge of the board and not catch the sander.”
The stops are designed to work with Rockler’s T-Track Table, but will work with any track that accepts 5/16” T-bolts.
The stops sell for $6.99 to $12.99, or as a kit for $24.99.
