The new FinishPro 30XP pneumatic trim and finish tool from Senco is the company’s smallest and lightest 15-gauge tool for trim and fine woodworking.
An upgraded version of Senco’s SFN30 finishing tool that featured a gray composite material in the main body, the new magnesium body on the 30XP gives it more durability and allows it to fit in better with the other Senco tool designs, according to the company.
Weighing just 3.8 lbs., the 30XP measures 12” in length and 9-5/8” in height, and is also extremely maneuverable in tight spaces such as cabinets, while strong and durable enough to handle a range of finish and trim projects.
“This is very easy to use and maneuver, especially inside cabinets. Our 15-gauge FinishPro 42XP shoots up to a 2-1/2” fastener, but it’s a much bigger tool and simply can’t fit into tight spaces as well as the 30XP,” product manager Ryan Schuler says.
The nailer accepts 1” to 2” 15-gauge 34-degree angled strip-finish nails. It features Senco’s E-Z Clear latch, designed to eliminate fastener jams and associated downtime.
“We’ve also incorporated our NeverLube design which requires no oil, so it’s virtually maintenance free,” Schuler adds.
The XP30 sells for a suggested retail price of $249.99 through authorized dealers and includes a carrying case, according to Senco.
