SNX adds two contour edgebander models

SNX introduces the G1.5 and G2.5 nVision contour edgebanders, which can trim inside radii as small as 7/16”, thanks to the addition of new ER20 collet systems.

“The cabinet, closet, and locker shops need to band and trim tight inside radii which led us to develop the new SNX nVision G1.5 and SNX nVision G2.5. This small inside radius required us to switch to ER20 collet-type spindles, extended plates, custom guide shoes, shank-style tools, and different software using the same control,” says SNX co-owner Craig Sexton.

“The challenge most of our customers face is that their contour parts are done manually by a select few of higher-paid employees. Our solution offers them a simple, more consistent way to apply banding and trim contour parts without relying on specific individuals. With less labor, they achieve higher quality, consistent contour parts with no delamination issues.”

Both models feature steel frames, 15” touchscreen controllers, banding and trimming stations, an articulated vacuum arms. The G1.5 has one arm. The G2.5 has two arms for double the output, according to Sexton.
