Techno CNC Systems released its new cabinet nested Venture Plus Series CNC router in July, designed to meet high production demands of the cabinet and furniture making industries, according to the company.
Capable of running 2,500 inches per minute, the machine will increase shop throughput for a quick return on investment, according to company president Roy Valentine.
‘Plus’ could refer to the machine’s weight, which Valentine says is a major advantage.
“The lighter the machine construction is, the more vibrations are transmitted through it. This is an 8,000-pound, all-steel machine so that rigidity is the foundation that creates that ultra-smooth edge finish that a lot of manufacturers are looking for with their products,” says Valentine.
The Venture Plus features a moving gantry to save on floor space, as well as THK rails and bearings.
Standard features also include a 16-hp HSD automatic tool changer spindle, eight-tool rotary carousel with HSK63F tool holders, nine-spindle drill bank, pneumatically operated dust hoods with CNC-controlled gate valves directing debris though a central vacuum manifold, and pneumatic pop-up pins for easy sheet alignment. Vacuum hold downs allow operators to secure sheet goods and various 2D or 3D geometric shapes.
It is powered by 1,500-watt Digital Yaskowa AC servo motors and PC-based Osai controller with a custom Techno interface.
The machine starts at $75,000.
