VERITAS DETAIL RABBET PLANES are five pocket-size planes that allow for fine, controlled cuts in areas that are ordinarily trimmed only with a chisel.

With very narrow soles, they are also useful for cleaning dados or grooves. The planes are available in five widths - 1/4", 5/16" (8mm), 3/8", 6mm, and 10mm. The cast-iron planes have a fixed-mouth, 3" long sole and an upswept palm rest. A 15-degree bed angle, combined with the 30-degree blade bevel, provides a 45-degree cutting angle.
