VERITAS DOVETAIL SAW is a blend of tradition and technology that the company says incorporates all of the critical characteristics of a fine joinery saw, yet is executed using modern production processes and state-of-the-art materials. The 9-1/4" long, 0.020" thick high-carbon steel blade features 14 rip-cut teeth per inch, having 0.003" of set preside. The teeth have a rake angle of 14 degrees and an included angle of 60 degrees. The depth of cut is 1-9/16". The 14-1/4" saw has a solid one-piece blade/spine/mount assembly, and a single brass fastener secures the bubinga handle. The Veritas dovetail saw sells for $65.
