Veritas tail vise

VERITAS QUICK-RELEASE SLIDING TAIL VISE can be installed in a right- or left-handed orientation, allowing the vise to be placed at either end of a workbench.

In the past, usually a section of the workbench was required to be cut away and rebuilt around a tail vise mechanism. Installation of the Veritas tail vise is simple; the mounting plate is attached to the underside of the bench and the vise is secured to the plate. The quick-release mechanism has a simple on-off lever that engages or disengages the Acme-threaded screw, which can apply force up to 300 lbs. in both clamping as well as spreading applications.
