If you’re looking for a CNC tool with a smaller footprint, consider our Desktop line of tools. They are built to perform like big tools, built to be rugged, and built to last. The popular ShopBot Desktop (with a work bed of 24” x 18”) and Desktop MAX (with a work bed of 36" x 24") are available with two versatile deck options: An Aluminum T-Slot Deck, a general-purpose deck that is versatile for a wide variety of machining options, or a Universal Vacuum Hold Down Deck that allows for quick hold down of sheet goods. The Desktop MAX ATC combines the industrial precision of the Desktop MAX with the efficiency of an Automatic Tool Changer (ATC)—which can reduce your production time by quickly and robotically changing cutters between tool paths.

Our full-size shop tools, like the PRSalpha 96 x 48 (and larger), are at work everywhere from small businesses to large factory settings. They are easily configured and can be reconfigured to meet your evolving production needs. And with the addition of an Automatic Tool Changer, ShopBot’s PRSalpha ATC tools become the production powerhouse of your shop! The ATC reduces production time by automatically changing cutters between tool paths, thus eliminating the need for the CNC operator to change and zero tools individually. This allows the PRSalpha ATC to do the full job, even when different tooling is required to make different types of cuts – like cabinets and furniture – or where different bits are needed for roughing and finishing passes – like complex 3D carvings.

Or perhaps you’ve discovered that you’re in need of a CNC tool that does something beyond the scope of most typical tool lines. Need more depth on the Z-axis? An extended work bed?
