Castle U.S.A., a woodworking machinery manufacturer, has launched its second student woodworking contest, “What’s Your Angle” after a successful first effort.

“We had such wonderful entries and interest that we decided to hold another contest this year and into 2024,” said Mathias Forsman, Castle’s CEO. “It’s a great way to reward excellence in woodworking and pocket joinery and foster the development of future professionals in our industry.”

There are two categories for individual or class/program entries. Pieces will be evaluated based on the overall look and presentation of the project as well as the most effective and innovative use of screw pocket joinery. The use of Castle machinery or products is not required.

Winners will receive various prize packages. Entry forms and complete contest rules are available from castleusa.com.
