Messler Gallery presents faculty work
“New Work by Faculty,” an exhibition of contemporary wood furniture, furnishings, turnings, sculpture, and stringed instruments, opened June 16 at the Messler Gallery of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine, and will run through Sept. 6.

The show features work by 24 makers who are current-year instructors at the Center, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
“Their collective expertise in design and fabrication is a major reason why the school’s educational programs are so effective and successful,” the Center said in a statement.
