NWFA picks best floor installations

The National Wood Flooring Association announced the winners of its 2017 Wood Floor of the Year contest during the Wood Flooring Expo in Phoenix.

The awards recognize innovative craftsmanship and design in wood flooring installations.

This year’s contest yielded 71 entries of flooring installations completed between January 2016 and January 2017.

The winners are:

Best Restoration/Makeover: 1 Wood Floors of Livonia, Mich.

Best Color & Finish Application: Artistic Floors by Design of Parker, Colo.

Best Circular/Curved Application: Scheller Hardwood Floors Inc. of Lemoyne, Pa.

Best Parquetry/Inlay Application: Traditional Hardwood Flooring of Toronto

Best Textured Wood Application: Michigan Hardwood Floors Services LLC of Farmington Hills, Mich.

Member’s Choice: Scheller Hardwood Floors Inc.
