Woodpeckers recently announced its new Modular Bar Gauge System. “Long before graduated scales were introduced, woodworkers transferred dimensions with a pair of rods joined with a sliding joint. Woodpeckers has taken the bar gauge to a new level with interchangeable tips, threaded extension rods and a set of trammel points for arc layout,” the company explained.
“The tip options include normal blunt tips, reduced diameter tips to measure drawer bottoms, outside measuring tips and arrow-point tips that are perfect for measuring inside diagonals. The extension rods allow you to use the bar gauge from 8-1/4" to over 8'.”
